A land surrounded by sea would give you a delectable seafood meal. Fresh ingredients makes a good seafood dish. One very famous restaurant in Ilolilo is Breakthrough. Live and alive stored in their aquarium and small pond.
This is one of my ultimate seafood experience... Location may not offer the cool breeze as desired while eatinv seafoods, but the freshness of the dishes will surely give you that feel.
First on my favorites is this Angel Wings Clam also known locally as Diwal. This is very seasonal and quite expensive yet worth the wait and the bucks.
While others crave for shrimp...
Bake scallops with a dash of roasted garlic... simply the best!
Their Lechon is also good!
This is the ULTIMATE SISIG EXPERIENCE... PURE 💯 % CRAB MEAT ... that’s all capital letters for emphasis;)
Alimasag is a bit thin that time.
To balance the meals, we had Chopseuy.
And lucky because we has perfect timing to try this Diwal.
The way it was cooked and prepared was simply no fancy. I think that makes the dish special. You can still taste the freshness of the seafoods because the sauces or the dishes was not complicated.
