Note that this is my version of the recipe. I don't usually measure my ingredients. I trust my guts or whatever I feel adding to it. Of course, be mindful of how each ingredient will affect the taste profile.
Crab Rangoon went viral this year and this is how to make it. Feel free to add your personal touch to the recipe
Ingredients
1 cup Imitation Crab Meat. Choose the brand that tastes good. I'm using Ichiban Brand (not sponsored).
1 cup Spring Onions.
1 block of cream cheese. I don't have enough cream cheese so I added a chilled all-purpose cream.
1 tablespoon of minced garlic.
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.
1 tablespoon of Japanese Mayonnaise.
1 pack potsticker or dumpling wrappers.
Procedure:
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
- Take a teaspoon of the mixture and place it in the middle.
- Fold the wrappers and seal with water.
- Deep fry the crab rangoon in hot oil.
